On theafternoon of January 18th, a contract-signing ceremony of majorprojects was held at the Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Manufacturing (ShashiDistrict) Industrial Park of the state-level Jingzhou Economicand Technological Development Zone. 16 projects including Wandi Real Estate, RolanElectric, Huike Intelligence, Langzheng Gift, Henghui Automobile, JibiaoSecurity, Xiande Doors, Jinglan Waterproof, Yaoxing Technology, and ChangyunEnergy Conservation with an overall investment of RMB 1.02 billion were signedto settle in the Park.
ZengQingzhu, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Committee and Ministerof the Organization Ministry of Jingzhou, attended the ceremony and delivered aspeech. She said that, mechanical and electrical equipment was the basicstrategic industry as well as an important mark to value the modern processinglevel of a nation or a region. These 16 projects that signed this time cover abroad range of industries involving electrical equipment manufacturing,automotive part manufacturing, intelligent equipment manufacturing, and newmaterial manufacturing, and thus enjoy huge potential for development. Shehoped that all signing enterprises would give full play to the advantages incapital, technology, talent, and management to well organize and scientificallyarrange so that projects could commence earlier, be put into production, andobtain benefit as early as possible while all relevant departments should putthe construction and development of the Park at a more important position inaccordance with the requirements of municipal party committee and municipalgovernment to actively serve and support the construction of these projects.
According to information, in 2017, the investment promotion and projectconstruction of the Park obtained new breakthroughs. 18 new projects wereintroduced, 10 having investment exceeding RMB 100 million eachand achieved an overall investment of RMB 5.18 billion. 23 projects havestarted to be opened while 26 are under construction. It completed a totalindustrial output value of RMB 16.78 billion and realized the fiscal revenue ofRMB 228 million. These 16 projects that signed thistime conform to the industrial development arrangement of “One Zone Several Parks” in Shashi District, the settlement ofwhich would inject strong power, vigor and energy to the economic developmentof Shashi District.
